Bread Masala - A snack recipe

Ingredients :

Bread slices                        4

Butter                                  3 tea spoons 

Onion                                  1 

Tomato                               2 

Capsicum                          1/2 

Green chilli                       1 

Ginger                                1/2 inch 

Garlic                                 2 cloves 

Turmeric powder           1/4 tea spoon

Chilli powder                   1/2 tea spoon 

Tomato sauce                   1 table spoon

Green chilli sauce           1 tea spoon

Soy sauce                          1/2 tea spoon

Oil                                       1 tea spoon 

Salt                                     As per your taste 


Method of cooking : 

1) Cut the bread slices into small square pieces.

2) Heat a pan and drop 1 tea spoon of butter in it.

3) Add the bread slices to the pan and saute it till it gets toasted into golden brown. Then keep it aside.

4) Pour 2 tea spoons of butter and oil to the pan and let it get heated.

5) Firstly, add finely chopped chilli, ginger and garlic and saute it for a minute.

6) Then add finely chopped onion and saute it till it softens.

7) Add finely chopped tomatoes and mix it with onion.

8) Add turmeric powder and chilli powder and saute it till tomatoes becomes soft and mushy.

9) Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce and salt and mix it well.

10) Add the toasted bread slices and mix it well till the masala gets coated. 

11) Sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves and decorate it.

A tasty evening tea time snack.
