Easy tips to prepare pulav or biryani

 


1) Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes.

2) In the meantime, chop the vegetables and get it ready.

3) Grind the required masala and be ready with the paste.

4) Cook in medium heat.

5) While sauting vegetables, sprinkle water. Remember that you should not pour water just sprinkle.

6) If you are cooking for more people, use pressure cooker.

7) If the quantity of rice to be cooked is less, use pressure pan.

8) To improve the quality of rice, drain off the rice after soaking for 20 minutes. 

9)Then put a tea spoon of ghee in a heated pan and saute the drained rice before cooking.

10) Use a thick vessel for cooking.

These are the basic steps you have to follow before preparing pulav or biryani.
