Curd potatoes

 Ingredients:

Potato                                     1/4 kg 

Curd                                        1 cup 

Chilli powder                        1/2 tea spoon

Coriander powder               1/2 tea spoon 

Masala powder for curd     3 tea spoons 

Turmeric powder                 1/4 tea spoon 

Cumin seeds                          1 tea spoon 

Oil                                            1 table spoon 

Salt                                           As per taste

Masala powder for curd :

Dry ginger powder               1 tea spoon 

Cumin seeds                          1 tea spoon 

Pepper                                    1 tea spoon 


Method of cooking: 

1) Boil potatoes, peel off the skin and smash it.

2) Grind cumin seeds and pepper and mix the powder with dry ginger powder.

3) Heat a pan and pour oil. As the oil gets heated, add cumin seeds for seasoning.

4) Add smashed potatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, masala powder and salt and saute it for a while.

5) Then add curd to the pan and saute the contents until the oil separates. 

6) Turn off the stove and decorate with coriander leaves.

Suits best for rice and roti.
